I know you must have so much to get ready for tonight. What kind of plans do you have for your New Years' Eve celebration? Will you be dancing, or playing cards, watching movies, eating dinner, enjoying pleasant conversations, playing games with family or friends? What will you be doing? You don't have to answer my questions. I really just want you to enjoy the last day of 2014 and I pray that you are smiling and laughing through most of it.
Count your blessings when you have a moment. Take just a second to realize how good life is and thank God for all the people in your life.
If by chance your year has been difficult I will say a prayer for you. No, I haven't the foggiest who you are - but I'll pray for you anyway. I know from my own experience that sometimes the prayers of others are all you seem to have because you have sunk to such a point you find it impossible to pray for yourself and I'm grateful for those who spoke with God on my behalf during difficult days. Take heart dear ones - God put us all here for a magnificent purpose. As you walk through your pain, or troubling times, and begin to squeeze through to the other side the skies will start to be just a wee bit brighter and the air a little sweeter. Take all the moments that are left to you and put them to great use - for those moments were left to you for a great purpose. You were wonderfully made.
Psalm 139:13-14 (NKJV)
For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
Now . . .
HAPPY NEW YEAR DEAR FRIENDS!!
