Each year we try to make it to Stream Cliff Herb Farm to wander through their gardens, eat lunch at Twigs and Sprigs, check out their crafts, enjoy their walking paths and check out all the herbs they have for sale. This year was not a disappointment!! Click on Stream Cliff Herb Farm and check out their site. It really is a very nice way to spend a few hours. I honestly do not think you will be sorry. Today was "Garden Day" so it was a little extra special because they have crafters with their wares for sale. By all means, you just MUST eat at Twigs and Sprigs. I never, ever walk out of there hungry. Also, everything has an herb flair which, of course, is just exactly what I like!!
After we left there and were on our way home I reminded hubby that we just had to stop at Hannah's Herbs and Everlastings located right outside of North Vernon, Indiana. It's just a little place on the side of the road that is run by John who always has a wonderful assortment of herbs and flowers and they are always reasonably priced. Each year I manage to find a way to his business just to see how he's doing and what's new. He's a really nice guy who works really hard and I appreciate the fact that he keeps his prices where the normal guy can actually buy something without going broke.
So, we're home, we've got the chickens, the horses and the dog fed and watered, I've collected the eggs and everything is back in its place, including us. I think, while we were gone, we had a storm. It must not have been too bad but you could tell there had been some wind. The garden looks good but I do believe in just one day, it has grown! One problem - - - - - the lawn needs mowed again!! Aghhhh!!!
Have a great Sunday. Talk to you Monday.
