We worked most of the day outside and are just flat-out tired. Hubby either tilled or hoed the entire garden and oh my goodness!!! It looks wonderful!! He's down on the floor now trying to work out a knot in his back. He just did too much. He can never seem to find the middle road, but all that being said, our garden sure is purdy!!!
Below are my Egyptian Walking Onions. They are now beginning to walk. They get tall, begin to make heads, start to curl (or walk like an Egyptian) bend over touch the ground and that's how they plant themselves. I think they are just so cool. They are the very first onions for table eating and sometimes I've even been able to pull them for the Thanksgiving table. They are just a lovely onion. You can eat the bulb in the ground and on the top of the plant!
