I went downstairs and hunted down some larger pots. I'm needing to transplant my tomatoes and peppers into larger pots. They are just growing like crazy. I'm extremely proud of them. The basil plants look terrific but I can hold off transplanting them for a week or so and by that time I may be able to transplant them straight to the garden.
I'm also getting the laundry done for the week and washing all the Winter coats and gloves. It's simply time to get that sort of stuff done and put away all the overcoats and sweatshirts and whatever else that keeps us warm until this Fall.
I went for a walk today just because. No special reason, I always like to see the daily changes that are happening on our property. You wouldn't think a day or two could make a difference but it does. Sometimes there's a new plant or you'll see flowers in bloom that weren't there yesterday. There is always something. I picked more wild violet blossoms too. It has become my "quiet obsession" this year. They are so pretty and when they dry they are just as lovely.
Hubby is working late so I put some chicken in the oven to bake. That way if he gets home at a reasonable hour he'll get hot baked chicken but if not it will be super for sandwiches.
The horses are beckoning, so I'd better get out there and feed them. I'm sure the dog will be hungry too. See Ya!
