Last night I met with my bride and her Mother and it was a very productive meeting. They were so easy to work with and just exceptional people. I was very grateful that they were so receptive to my ideas. It helped me to realize that perhaps I wasn’t that far off base in my thinking about what to serve. I was so excited by the time I got home I could barely breathe. I hit the door and sat down at the computer and wrote my blog, got up, washed a few dishes, talked a little to my husband, hit the sack and was out like a light!! It’s been awhile since I got up early in the morning and didn’t stop until bedtime. This morning I was one tired cookie!!
I went to work today and left a beef and bean burrito with salsa and sour cream with my husband for his lunch. I also told him if he was still hungry there was applesauce, cheese, strawberries and whip cream and fruit bars. There’s also a leftover hamburger. That will have to hold him until I get home tonight! I was running a little slow this morning and my thinker wasn’t thinking much faster than that.

Tonight we had T-bone Steaks and baked sweet potatoes. By the time I got home I was really dragging and that was an easy supper. Sweet potato is such a calming food for me to eat. You know, I really don't know why. I'll have to do some research on that. There's got to be a reason. I've been considering starting a separate page for curious, unusual or odd information that I find. This might be as good a time as any.
Tomorrow, when I’ve gotten my second wind and since it’s my day off, I will start planting seeds for the garden this Spring. I am so excited to get this started. I’m trying not to get too far ahead of myself but oh my, Spring’s right around the corner. Right now with the snow coming down it certainly doesn't look like it but, still, it's close!
