There's really not much to write about today except that we worked . . . and worked . . . and worked!! The mail lady came by and stopped. She said she would trade jobs with me in a minute and I realized that my work wasn't so bad after all. It's sometimes hard living on this place and doing what we do but I honestly wouldn't trade it for anything.
After we got all the limbs dragged to the pile hubby fed the horses and Sam. I went back out to the herb garden, put all my tools in the wheelbarrow and carted it all back to the garage. Then I went inside to get dinner started.
We were having venison, mashed potatoes, gravy and honeyed carrots for supper but I got back in the house so late and my head had been hurting all day I just didn't feel like fooling with it. I put together a batch of chili, took a couple Advil and hoped for the best.
The weather in this area is making the news. We're supposed to have some terrible storms tomorrow and I know that that's why my head is hurting so bad because I get weather headaches. I sure hope nothing too serious comes our way!! We've gotten everything tied down, the vehicles inside and the barn doors closed so I suppose it's a sit-and-wait until-it-hits kind of game.
Tomorrow is Sunday so have a nice day and I'll be back here Monday. I've got some new pics on my Picture Page, if you're interested. See Ya!!
