It has been quite a year. I'm sure every commentator on TV will be talking about all the unusual things that happened this year, both good and bad. What has happened in your life? Maybe it is time to reflect on the days behind us. What kind of days have they been? Wasted, fearful, useless, uncommon, dreaded, or hard - purposeful, insightful, promising, worthwhile, or ordinary? Some of my days have been "difficult", "satisfying" and "scary"; but they've also been "happy", they've been days of "sharing" and also, "comfortable" days. Descriptions for memories, for days past, for yesterdays' deeds, are at best difficult because they are so personal and you alone lived them. How do you describe to another what only you have lived? So there comes the time to reflect and if we choose not to take the time each day to reflect upon our actions - then surely at the end of the year we should take the time to look back upon all those days past.
Remember though - a day, like a year, doesn't necessarily make or break a person - but it can! Each new day is a gift. Just don't ever forget - not everyone wakes up to a new day!!! Not everyone has another whole year.
I probably sound way too reflective and maybe a little NUTS!!!! Won't be the first time somebody said I was little "cracked"!!! Tee Hee!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE!
