My sister sent this to me and I liked it. I have no idea where she got the entire piece other than a lot of it came from my favorite book, the Bible . . .
Today is Valentine Day...we all say "I love you". But do we truly know the meaning of love? I Corinthians 13:...let's look at what love is....endures long...patient....kind....bears up under ANYthing....believes the best of Everyone.
Now let's see what love isn't.... never envious....never jealous, doesn't boast....isn't haughty....not conceited.... not RUDE....doesn't act unbecoming....doesn't insist on its own way(ouch)....not self seeking....isn't touchy or fretful(worry ...about things....another ouch)....takes NO account of evil done to it (whoa this is a biggy, we all sit around and talk about the wrong someone has done against us. We say we forgive and the minute someone will listen we bring it up and blast the person again).... it does not rejoice at injustice.
You can preach, have prophetic powers, have faith that moves mountains, give to the poor, even give your life, BUT if you don't LOVE, ( God's love, not our definition of love) then you gain nothing.
Love is the greatest thing in life, and walking in love should be our main focus.
Give satan a nervous breakdown.....become radical in your love walk....say this pray...Lord reduce me to love!!!!!!
Happy Valentine Day........
