I went out later to weed the strawberry bed and get it ready for Winter. We barely had any strawberry plants or strawberries this year due to the hard Winter and the rest of the plants have died during the course of the year. So I got the bed all cleaned up and ready for next Spring. We will definitely plant at least another 25 plants this coming Spring. This was not exactly a big surprise. They truly looked bad this year and sometimes you get the bear/sometimes the bear gets you. I lost so very many plants this past year due to the hard Winter, of so many different varieties, that I took this with a grain of salt. It's just the way it goes sometimes.
I rustled up some spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread for supper. Don't you wonder sometimes how you can fix the exact same thing time after time but it's that one time you fix it and it's just so much better than all the other times? How does that work? Are we hungrier maybe, is it in our heads? Is it because of what we've eaten at the meal before? I often wonder about those kind of things. Did I ever tell you I'm a little odd? Now you know for sure! TeeHee!!
