I did take a little time to do some weeding in the herb garden. Some of the calendula came up but very few and the weeds surrounding them were beginning to take over. I decided to transplant them to a completely different place and try to save what I could. I also had about a dozen safflower that survived so I transplanted them as well. They will be lucky if they make it because they do not transplant well at all. In fact, the best safflower I ever grew was in a bed of weeds. They were left unattended and had weeds to help hold them up. They were perfectly suited for the spot. For me, leaving the weeds is so very hard!! I then weeded the nasturtiums. They are doing great and I can't wait to get some blooms for stuffing.
Time for my walk. I honestly didn't do that much outside and I've made a deal with myself. If I don't feel I've honestly done that much physical work I have to walk a mile. I've worked today but not enough so . . . gotta go!
