There are signs of Spring everywhere. My lupines are up, along with the Foxtail Lilies, irises are about 2 inches high but most of my herbs are still nestled in the ground so that tells me it should be another week or two before we see too many more herbs pop up. We just need a little more heat. You know, I take that back, the Garlic Chives are up, along with my Egyptian Walking Onions but other than that nothing new. That's not exactly a surprise though, huh? You can't push Mother Nature. She makes up her own mind about things!!
I have two beautiful ducks on my lake today. A male and a female mallard, quite common for around here. The herons are dropping by constantly now. Oh they are a sight to behold when they are fishing. We've been watching the Purple Martin house and no early scouts so far. It is still early so we haven't given hope up yet.
Everyone of my tomato seeds except for 3 came up. Oh, it's just glorious. I've got them sitting downstairs right now under my plant light. The peppers haven't popped through yet but I'm watching them like a hawk.
I'm still working on figuring this new computer system out. I have to figure out how to get pictures on here so that I can be prepared when the herbs start coming up because I want you to see them grow.
