I was not at all looking forward to going to work this morning. My computer had crashed last week while my boss was out of town and this was going to be the first day for us to be back in the office together. I just dreaded the whole day to come!! Our tech guy came in about 9:10 a.m. and within a half hour he had managed to capture all our files and deliver them safely to my boss's computer. Ah!! What a relief. I had my back-up handy just in case but I didn't even need it. Then, of course, there was the matter of a printer and since everything in our office ran through my computer out at my desk in the front office, we had to move and hook the printer up to the computer in his office. Oh well, I just kept thinking positively. At least we have all our documents and forms. The tech guy finally gets out of our office at 12:20 and about 1:10 p.m. I realized that even though the fax machine was ringing it wasn't allowing any faxes to get through. Then I noticed our telephones were messed up. I made a call to our telephone guys and they will be in Thursday to see if they can't get it straightened out. It's just been an a real hassle of a day. We have 7 weeks before we close our office and 1 computer between the two of us. This ought to be good!!!
All of the essential oils and other herb related items were delivered today that I had ordered from Mountain Rose Herbs. It's just so exciting to get all this good stuff. Now I can make some of the special recipes I've been so excited about. I had plans on making a particular tea my niece had requested but sarsaparilla was out of stock - so that will have to wait, but there are many more recipes I have lined up!! I've found a recipe for a natural neosporin that looks really good, an anti-perspirant stick, and a few perfume recipes too. But . . . I must be patient. I can't do all the good stuff right now - I've still got some leftover work outside that needs to be done - like raking leaves!! Aghhhh!!!
