As I present my program this evening I am presenting one aspect of the act of good homemaking. It's not JUST having herbs, it's using them for your home - for the family. What we do to bring light to our family as we're gathered around the table sharing our days with each other, laughing and learning - strikes a chord of great importance. This all goes beyond a simple program for the herb club. It's the art of homemaking, the art of training our children, the art of educating, sharing, and caring and as we gather to share - we are in essence thanking God for all he has given us and in turn . . . we find we have no option but to give back.

Note: Hubby kind of liked the pipe tobacco. Kind of. He said he can imagine that it would be a good thing to smoke if you had the flu or were sick and if he had nothing else he can imagine this being REALLY good. He's going to let it "cure" a little and may even blend some of his own tobacco with it, but I was terribly surprised at his reaction and quite pleased!!
Note: I will get some of my herb program recipes to you tomorrow and let you know how it all went down. Here are a couple pics of 2 of the salads.
