By the way, the Dijon Mustard did not get better with time. It's terrible. I can add a little honey and make it palatable and we WILL eat it - but it's not my much desired Dijon. I'll have to try again another time. I'm not giving up. I've just got much bigger fish to fry right now.
It's Frugal Friday and we're having Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce and garlic bread with a small side salad. Hubby loves meat sauce so this will be difficult for him - but he'll survive. I will strip all the red cherry tomatoes and bring them in for the spaghetti sauce. I am slowly trying to use up the tomatoes left in the garden without canning. This week-end I'll also make some fresh tomato salsa. Yesterday I made Corn and Tomato Salsa. I'll also fix a couple stuffed tomatoes and some BLT's before I'm finished and I love stir frying cherry tomatoes in olive oil, Italian Seasoning, salt and pepper. So I still have some options.
I had some red and yellow peppers from the garden and sliced a couple quart bags full for the freezer. They will taste awfully good stir-fried along with onions and mushrooms as a side to steaks or pork loins this Winter!

I'm all done making ketchup!!! Yes, yes, yes!!!! It tastes close, real close, not perfect but real close to store-bought ketchup and that's what my family wants. I'm rather proud of myself. Whoa!! I'm going to have to stomp on my head - it just keeps getting bigger!! I managed to can 12 pints of nice, spicy sweet, thick ketchup. Oh, I'm one happy girl!!
