First I fed the chickens and then I had to spray the grapes. I put together the whey, water and detergent and got it accomplished. Oh, I sure hope it works!! The grapes and the red raspberries look really nice this year.
I had skipped a month doing the grocery shopping and we're having company later this month so I needed to really get the shopping done plus play a little catch-up. I was pretty doggone proud to have gone the extra month so I'm really not complaining but there was a LOT of shopping to be accomplished. I do believe I was all over the county but I finally got it done and stayed under budget. Not bad, huh?!
Hubby picked up sticks, weed-eated, mowed and just about worked himself into an early grave, but here we are ready for the last half of the day and we still have energy. I believe we are both getting stronger. Starting out this year I was rather weak and wasn't too proud of myself but I'm feeling stronger longer now.
I'm slowly trying to get out all my yard "junk". I put the granddaughters' picnic table out on the front deck, put my fairies out in the herb garden, set my gazing ball in the perfect spot and somewhere along the way found myself about 1-1/2 hours later still on my hands and knees weeding!! That's what Spring is all about - getting lost in the wonder!!!
Time to fix supper and slow us both down before neither one of us can walk tomorrow!! LOL!!
