Hasn't today been fantastic?!! It's approximately 40 degrees here and makes the gardener wistful. I've walked all over the property thinking about all the springtime tasks that will need to be accomplished. It is the one time of year I see horrendous amounts of work and get blissfully excited!! Needless to say it doesn't last long once Spring is actually here and the aching muscles set in but for now - I can't wait. I've got big plans for this year. Speaking of plans . . . do any of you have special gardening plans for the year? Any new plants or seeds on your agenda? I'm going to buy some Bells of Ireland seed this year since I haven't grown them in years. I fell in love with these flowers about 15 years ago. I bought a packet of seed, planted them and had no idea what they were going to be like. They made beautiful cut flowers and are unbelievable in potpourri. What's really cool is you just don't see them a lot in gardens and I like "different"!!!
Oh come on!!! Tell me what you're doing differently this year in your garden or what different kinds of seeds or plants you will be working with. I really am interested!!!
Oh, Oh, before I go - did you know this is: National Fig Newton Day!!!
