I took all of my smaller red tomatoes and most of my Romas and made some spaghetti sauce. I wasn't going to make any spaghetti sauce because I like to make it at the time I'm fixing my meals but thought better of it. Every once in a great while I need something quick so I decided to make some spaghetti sauce after all. I ended up with 7 pints and that ought to do me. I canned 6 quarts of crushed tomatoes and 6 quarts of whole tomatoes.
I also cleaned and cut up some carrots and broccoli and have them in the dehydrator. I know I don't necessarily need this new dried vegetable blend for salads but it sounded so good I couldn't stand it. I have everything else already dried except for peppers. Oh, I just can't wait. It will be so pretty and tasty too!!
I'm going to make a meatloaf, Swiss Chard and boiled potatoes for supper and will probably do a few loads of laundry. Other than that - I'm so done!!
