The medicine chest has been cleaned out, old scripts thrown away and, I say this with no small amount of pride, herbal remedies have been added. I'm learning about the medicinal properties of herbs and am working slowly toward my goal of using only herbal remedies, if and where possible.
I also cleaned out my dish hutch and it looks so pretty. I don't know if I can stand this "cleaning stage" I'm in. It might actually make me ill!! Feel my head - do I have a fever? TeeHee!!
Tonight for supper I fixed spaghetti squash, stir-fried cherry tomatoes, onions, yellow squash and zucchini in olive oil and garlic salt and it made a lovely, light tomato sauce to drizzle over the squash. We had stir-fried round steak strips marinated in Sage Blossom Vinegar on the side. It was awesome! I can't tell you just how flavorful the meal was. The more I eat spaghetti squash the more I like it. The squash seems to take on the flavor of whatever you pair it with. Whoo-eee!! Those steak strips were pretty doggone good too!
