So far-so good. No rain and the sun has come out, bigtime! I've got 2 more butterfly bushes to trim. No, that's not exactly correct. I have a flowerbed full of butterfly bushes that need trimmed and 1 out by the herb garden. I've already trimmed 3 separate butterfly bushes, trimmed and weeded the hibiscus and picked up the huge limbs that had fallen in the yard. I then went out to the herb garden just to walk around, kind of to rest and check things out and ended up down on my hands and knees weeding the oregano. A lot of small clover had gotten intertwined in the oregano and it was a mess . . . but it's all good now! So, by that time I was tired, still didn't have the butterfly bushes trimmed back but had to take a break.
While I was inside I started my 3rd load of laundry and put canned green beans, potatoes and onions in a pan and turned them on low. That's what will go with the pheasant I have in the crockpot with creamy gravy for our dinner.
Ah! It just now started sprinkling and is turning into a nice Spring rain. Hubby called and is going to be late again tonight so I've gone ahead and fed the animals. He's really been draggin' the last couple days. Yesterday he worked 12 hours so I'm trying to make it as easy on him as possible.
The laundry is just about finished, supper is sitting on the stove, it's raining and all is well.
