I finally got everything home, carted into the house, put in the cabinets and ate a balogna sandwich at 1:30 p.m. It was good but I had waited too long to eat and it didn't sit well at all. But nonetheless, I had to keep on going. I had picked, snapped and stuffed into my refrigerator yesterday evening the last of the green beans. I almost never do that but I picked them after my granddaughter left and I knew I would be up until midnight if I had started canning so . . . I'm canning them today. Then I need to get outside and cut some basil. It has taken off and is growing like wildfire. Gotta run.
Ten quarts of green beans later and one yard mowed, I'm finally back in the house. Never done!!
