I'm ready for lunch as soon as they pull in so that baby girl can go down for her nap. If she can get a nice nap in we're good for the day.
My blog today will probably be sporadic. I will be hustling around like an old fussy woman but then . . . I AM GRANNY, you know!!!

They're here ---- they're here!!!! My youngest granddaughter actually let me hold her and take her into the house!! I was beginning to think she was just appendage to her Mother - but at last she is finally growing more adapted to life without momma's hip. YES!!! Now we can really have fun. Of course I immediately gave both my girls hugs and we went into the house to look at the "big fat turkey" and gobble, gobbled a little, and then I finally said hello to my son and his wife. Ah, grandchildren just seem to be all that count!!
Anyway, we had a nice lunch, we showed them our new chicken coop and now everyone is down for a nap. I can't sleep so I thought I'd blog a little. They all have just come from her parents' house where they had a wonderful Thanksgiving and now they are at mine. Listen up, I've been this route before. I happen to know they are dog tired, bone weary and everything else, but they are NOT hungry. I get it, I really do!! I'm just glad they're here. For years I had them on Thanksgiving so it's only fair that every once in awhile her Mom gets 'em first!!

Time for bed!! It's been a wonderful "turkey day". I am so grateful for my many, many blessings.
