-------------------------------------------
I got up this morning just feeling off balance, ya know? I thawed out the tomato soup I froze a couple weeks ago and put it in a thermos along with some crackers. So today on my lunch hour, even though I was feeling pretty yukky, at least I had some hot soup.
Herb club met tonight and to miss that meeting is just almost too much; but I knew I could in no way work all day, sit around or go shopping until 6:30 p.m. and then sit through what might turn out to be a 2 hour meeting. I just couldn't-so I came on home. I made supper and other than that have done pretty much - nothing else!! I'm going to go to bed early and maybe tomorrow I'll feel better.
Yesterday hubby and I worked in the garden. I know, I know, it was Sunday but we really enjoy working in the garden, plus it's supposed to rain all week; so though it's supposed to be a day of rest, I have to admit we worked yesterday afternoon and some of the evening.
I finished picking the peas and hubby pulled them up. Goodness, that sure was a disappointment!! But I did get enough peas to freeze back for 2 meals. Oh well, that's 2 meals we didn't have.
I needed to pick raspberries tonight but I'm afraid that's going to have to wait until tomorrow. Honestly, imagine being colonists or pioneers and if you didn't pick it you didn't eat. Can you imagine actually having to get off your duff no matter how bad you felt and picking vegetables, preparing them and/or preserving them? Tough life. We don't realize how lucky we have it.
I'm going to get off here now and try and calm this queasy stomach of mine. Check my Pictures page for some garden pics if you have the time. Bye!!
