I've thrown some sweet potatoes and white potatoes in the microwave and am broiling 3 slices of pork loin for supper. I make a blend called "Spicy Blend" which I use when I grill and broil pork. It actually tastes like I put lot of time into preparing the meat, when I haven't, but these two dishes make a real nice quick meal. I just can't decide what to fix with it all. I have butter and sour cream for the white potatoes and a brown sugar blend for the sweet potatoes. There's a quart of whole tomatoes in the frig already cold. I think that would be okay, don't you? I mean, come on, we've been gone all day and I'm certainly no miracle worker.
Getting together today and seeing all my family was nice. You get to see brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, new girlfriends and boyfriends, new babies and babies growing up who don't even look like the same kids you saw 6 months ago. It's always good to get together, eat a little and laugh a lot. Did I actually say "eat a little". Sorry, it must have been wishful thinking!!
Tomorrow I start on my treadmill. I'm just not getting enough exercise and with this weather - well, I'm NOT going to go outside and walk!! I do enough outside that I just am not going to walk 2 miles as well. I feel as though I need to do something though just to stay healthy and since I've already started cutting back on what I eat, exercise is next. Oh I do hate to exercise. So walking it is.
