Though I wondered at times if I was going to fall asleep working today I managed to get quite a bit accomplished. I had another 3 dozen eggs sitting in the frig and decided to freeze them a little differently this time. I froze whole eggs, 2 per container, for frying; egg whites, 4 per bag, for meringue; and egg yolks, lightly beaten with a pinch of salt. Always before I scrambled the eggs before freezing and they work fine - so we'll see how this process works out. If they don't work for frying eggs or whatever I can always bake with them. I still cannot get it in my head that the egg whites will actually beat up and make decent meringue and when I use them for that I'll let you know what occurs.
Hubby helped me work on the garlic bed today. I weeded and got it ready, he tilled and we both went out and got some horse manure spread it around, tilled again and then I planted garlic and put down straw.
We then had to get some trees cut down that the wind had taken out last week. After that I was pooped.
Hubby was busy dragging our gravel lane as I went out to collect eggs. I love how our lane looks after he drags it. Fancy - fancy.
