I’ve been really busy here at work and just decided to stay in on my lunch hour. I’ve got half of a roast beef sandwich, a banana and some mixed nuts. That should hold me through the day. It continues to be busy here at the office but I kind of like it that way. I don’t like to have nothing to do when I’m getting paid to work.
I put out round steak for supper. I’m going to slice up some tomatoes, peppers and onions and put it in a foil pack. It takes about an hour for it to be ready and I can throw a can of green beans in a pan or perhaps some corn and slice some more tomatoes. We’re going to try and put most of the garden to bed this evening and Friday which means digging potatoes and carrots. Of course, that means I’m going to be busy canning again. But we’re getting down now to the last of it so I’m not complaining. That food may be a little work originally but this Winter it will be mighty tasty and good for us. No preservatives, extra coloring, extra sugar, salt, etc. Just good.
