Oh and here's a wonderful alert!! I've got baby plants sprouting!!!! Oh, I'm so excited I can barely stand it. They are popping through just beautifully. Basil, tomatoes, yay rah!!!
These are the dishes my hubby bought me several years ago. It began as a tea set but it was such a pretty set he decided to go ahead and get me the entire dinner set. I am particularly fond of my footed vegetable bowl and covered casserole.
He did good, didn't he!!
I'm not sure this will help bring Spring on but it got me oiling all the wood cabinets which makes them shine and everything looks so bright and cheerful.

At 12:15 today it was 32 degrees and I pulled on my winter duds and worked outside until about 1:30. This was my first day out actually doing physical labor and I didn't want to push it. Plus, I gotta admit, I tired fast; but it felt so good and an hour is better than nothing!! I got the area around my gazebo cleaned up, the trail down to the bridge cleared and the trail behind the herb garden cleared as well. By the time I came back in it was 39 degrees. Not bad, huh? Of course they say we've got a lot of bad weather coming, but day at a time, my friends, day at a time.
