I hated to see them go but I'm sure Mommy and Big Sister were missing them!!
I'm also putting together a tea to drink when I'm all wound up tight. Hopefully, this will assist me in calming down and getting a more restful sleep. I have decided to make it from chamomile which does indeed reduce anxiety (although it has many more benefits) and Tulsi Basil which is useful for fatigue, anxiety and sleeplessness. It too is a very anti-stress herb. I'll probably try a little fennel seed since it is a good source of melatonin, which helps you sleep. I just picked some rosehips so I'll probably throw them in for the added Vitamin C and if I want or need more flavor I'll add spearmint since it has a mild sedative effect and is a great antioxidant. There are other herbs out there to use for this but I have these at my fingertips and hopefully, they will do the trick.
I adore working with my herbs. I just feel so - so right. Isn't life great?!!!!
