We got home and I got a wild hair and decided to shell pecans from our trees. I sat outside on the ground in the bright sunshine, listened to the birds and felt the warmth of the sun on my face. With a light wind blowing in my hair and the air smelling so fresh and clean, I don't think I could have felt any closer to nature. The hummingbirds were humming around in the tree overhead and the fish were jumping in the lake, the horses were in the pasture munching on grass and all was right with the world.
I finished finally and came up on the deck to show my treasure to hubby. He was sitting there like a king on his throne. It's just been a really nice day for both of us.
I finally finished preparing my program for Monday evening and my goodness there's so much information I'll never get it all memorized. I don't think I'm even going to try. I am excited about the information but even as I type this blog I have to smile because I'm a little dorky when it comes to herbs. Not everybody gets as turned on about this stuff as I do so wish me luck - I'm probably going to need it!!
I'm making Nettle Potato Soup and bringing some French Bread and making some Nettle Tomato Butter to go on the bread. I can't imagine them not enjoying that!! Anyway, I'll try and get my program all typed up and I'll put it on my blog for Monday evening and you will be able to have all the benefits of the Nettle Program . . .but no food!!!
Have a great Sunday. Talk to you Monday!!
