Today I finally had the time to make the two personal pan pizzas, that I talked about yesterday, for the freezer. I didn't have a bunch of mozzarella so yellow cheese it is . . . like that will keep us from eating pizza!! LOL! The crust for the first one was lopsided but the second one was perfect. This summer when we're craving something decadent, but quick, I'll be able to pull one of these babies out of the freezer, add a salad and we'll be set! I also fixed a HUGE pot of vegetable soup. I'm going to fill quart jars and pressure can some here in just a few minutes. So, there we have it. At least 2 different meals for a quick supper when I'm exhausted this summer. Hmmmm, now what's next?
It's a little colder this morning but still - nice!! My strawberries have not arrived yet and I checked with the company this morning. They tell me they will be here on the 20th. That looks to work nicely if it doesn't rain anymore here. I'll get the strawberry bed in shape tomorrow and be ready for them. Keep your fingers crossed!! Hmmmm, now what's next? Hubby had to work 12 hours today so after I got all the feeding done and got back into the house I realized I hadn't even thought about the laundry. How could I forget?!?!?!? I'm sorting, doing laundry AND canning! Geez, how could I mess up one day so much?

AuthorMy name is Nina. Southern Indiana has been my home since 1952. I've been a legal secretary most of my adult life and for my leisure time I enjoy everything connected to the world of herbs and cooking is almost like a "fever". I am also quite opinionated but try not to push my opinions on others. My family is grown and I'm left with a wonderful hubby sharing life with me. I'd guess you'd say my passion is living that life to the fullest. Archives
